GOT AN IDEA FOR EITHER PROJECT?
...Students? Other dreamers? Anyone!?!...
Do you have an idea on any way we can achieve either goal (The $51,000.00 USD Project for Three Buses or The $13,000.00 USD Project for The Single Bus)?
Sure, we have the advertising ideas... and perhaps someone will take us up on the idea(s)... but are we missing any other ideas?
WE WELCOME HELP from students, teachers, marketing folks... ANYONE really!
We'd like to throw this open... if you (or a class or whatever) thinks you can make either idea happen/work, please let us know!
We can't "pay" for a consultant... but we would be willing to allow someone to gain any credit or whatever from this project they can if they can make EITHER happen!
The only caveats are...
1 - Ownership of the buses must NOT be to anyone accept the groups and/or people decided on by Matthew Didier
2 - All concepts/ideas should adhere to community standards within North America. (ie: No pornography or the like...)
3 - No ideas/concepts should be in violation of any laws... state, provincial, or national in Canada and The United States of America.
4 - The ideas/concepts must not mark, damage, destroy, "need conversion of", or otherwise permanently scar the buses in any way.
5 - The ideas/concepts are ONLY for the acquisition, shipping (California to Toronto), and eventual delivery of the vehicle(s) and not beyond that... well, not to last beyond 48 hours after delivery to Matthew and/or the owners and/or groups they are destined for.
6 - The ideas/concepts ONLY last for a normal shipping/delivery period (plus possibly 48 hours after delivery) and do not include "prolonged stop-overs" anywhere.
7 - The ideas/concepts understand that the buses currently are NOT running and will need to be shipped via flat-bed trucks.
8 - The ideas/concepts understand that the buses are NOT in the ownership of the webmaster or the groups as of the time of writing this page. (Gaining enough to purchase the buses THEN ship them is the goal!)
9 - The ideas/concepts do not include "running tours" with the buses or otherwise using them as "commercial vehicles" to obtain the goal.
10 - Resist the urge to submit "Drug Deals", "Contract Killings", or "Win the Lottery"... or any of the more silly or far-flung ideas.
11 - REMEMBER: Although there are two non-profit groups mentioned on this site, they are NOT directly involved with this project... so asking them to do "sales" or try to dig for "donations" is not a possibility.
Lastly, should anyone know a way to achieve the goal(s) and come out with a little extra money for their efforts, a "finders fee" or whatever is quite alright with us! Anything above the "goal" can be "paid out" to the finders/people who help obtain the bus(es)... we can't afford anything right away, but for example, if you found a way to get $20,000.00 USD to obtain the single bus (which needs a tentative total of $13,000.00 USD) AND adhere to the above, we would be happy to pay back for your efforts the $7,000.00 USD not needed as a finders fee... once the buses and ownership are delivered and received in good order.
So, what do you think? Think you can do it?
You can use the "advertising" idea if you think it'll work... or another concept that you think of... just stick to the eleven points above and it's all good...
So, I toss this out to business students, business people, and anyone... can anyone help or give an idea?
