Wordless Wednesday - "Happy Halloween"

I saw the above image, and it made me chuckle. I wish I could dress up my "boys" but my dogs would have none of a Halloween costume, plus they are terrified of jack-o-lanterns (I'm not kidding) so I leave them safely inside on Halloween night. Hope this has brought you a smile too, and if you celebrate have a safe, and happy Halloween! :D

Happy Wordless Wednesday! Thank you for stopping by!

Cheers!

The Secret of Law of Attraction

I had the opportunity to visit the online home of the Law Of Attraction Accelerator earlier this morning, and whether you have heard of it before or not I thought I would give you a brief review of what I found out while I was visiting this website. If you are interested in learning more about this, and online money-making opportunities in general please do read on.

Initially when I surfed onto the Law Of Attraction Accelerator website I thought this reminds me a lot of the "secret" that was featured on the Oprah Winifrey television show last year. You know the one, there seemed to be a huge hoopla over it, and was the talk of the blogosphere, and net in general particularly the money-making forums. The "Secret" however was not free if I recall correctly.

With the Law Of Attraction Accelerator you can get a FREE 20 page law of attraction book that will be sent to your email account.Since free is my favourite price, and they state they will not sell your email address I thought it won't hurt to at leat have a look at.

Since many of you are also interested in online money making opportunities you may also wish to check out the Law Of Attraction Accelerator affiliate program. More details on the site. If this sounds like something you might find of interest you can check it out via one of the links within this entry.

Captcha-Busting Program Spreading Spam

Arggghhh just when I thought that I was safe from spam in my comments section I read about this captcha-busting program in a BBC article this morning. Ugh! I hate captchas, but view them as a necessary evil, and do not fault my fellow bloggers from using them, but if they can be defeated what steps will we have to go to next????

Here is a snippet from the article:

A virtual stripper is helping to defeat anti-spam security checks.

Spammers have created a Windows game which shows a woman in a state of undress when people correctly type in text shown in an accompanying image.

The scrambled text images come from sites which use them to stop computers automatically signing up for accounts that can be put to illegal use.

By getting people to type in the text the spammers can take over the accounts and use them to send junk mail.

The scrambled text systems used to defeat automatic sign-ups are known as Captchas or "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart".

Typically they feature a disfigured word or one overlaid with artefacts that make it difficult for anyone but a human to decipher.

Many computer criminals have been trying to crack these systems to get at the net-based resources, such as e-mail accounts or blogging tools, they are designed to protect.

Full BBC Article Here

Grrrr.... before we fixed our comment sections with captchas hubyy and I were receiving tons of spam comments via our blogs ... and I would definitely hate to put up with that crap again!

House Warming Gifts

Those of you dear readers who are familiar with my family blog are most likely also in the know about my sister's recent change in residence. If not, the gist of it is my sister moved into her first new home after her recent divorce. It was definitely one of those life defining moments for her, and my niece, and naturally I thought about making certain that we gave her a thoughtful, and equally importantly useful house warming gift.

Roland's Housewarming Gifts at rolandsGifts.com definitely fills the bill for exactly what I was looking for in a house warming gift for my sister. The company is over a decade old and while originally marketed towards closing gifts for real estate agents they have been selling to the general public via their website for years now.

Have a look at these good quality personalized door mats, and then check out the highly competitive prices. I personally like the Olefin series.

While on their website I had a look at this custom address plaque as a possible gift idea as well. Have a look at the etched slates, I think they look very smart, and would definitely add to a home's curb appeal. B)

They have additional address signs available on their website, and I definitely would recommend checking them out whether you are purchasing for someone else or gifting yourself. :D

Don't Mind Our Dust

The Gap is well known for producing hilarious, and innovative ads. The one I have added above is no exception, and is amongst my own personal faves. Something about destruction, and chaos in a fashion store that appeals. B)

It is just too bad that The Gap is still tainted by their suppliers in India using child labour. At least many of the people I know still refuse to purchase from them because of it. Personally I cannot support any product where child labour is even a remote possibility. And no ad no matter how funny or clever can change that.

The Grapevine - A Review

Good morning my peeps! It has been a while since I have had the pleasure of visiting a website that made me go "WOW!" Earlier this very morning I did visit a site that not only made me go "WOW," but absolutely impressed me with its innovation in a total lifestyle, and shopping experience.

Grapevine.com
follows the story of four very smart, savvy, stylish, and unique women known as the Grapevine Girls. Following the lives of Gabby, Liv, Shannon and Raqui on the site can become very addicting! Plus they share their own shopping tips, and open up their closets allowing you to make purchases of the same products via the Grapevine.com website. B)

The site itself encourages interactivity, and you can participate on their blog by leaving comments, and your thoughts on certain products etc. Have a look at
Grapevine.com
by clicking on the links I have added into this entry for you, and I think that you will agree that this site takes the old saying "I heard it through the Grapevine" to new online heights!

Identity Theft And Banking Info - Part Two

Please accept my apology for the lack of posting these past couple of days. I have been very busy with hobby A also known as PSICAN, which is par for the course with days to go before Halloween.

I did however, want to fill you in on what has happened with my sister's banking fiasco mentioned in the previous post: Identity Theft And Banking Info

All of my sister's assets through that financial institution were initially frozen. After much questioning including "where were you on the night of...at such and such time"...she was able to convince them to release enough of her funds to live on. In the mean time while the bank's investigation continues her online banking, VISA etc have been frozen. And I can tell you it has been a nightmare for her particularly as she pays her bills online.

The scary thing is we were talking to a friend of ours who had something similar happen. At the time of the crime our friend was a bank employee, but this made no difference to the investigative process with the exception of one thing. She was eventually able to find out where exactly it was that her card number, and password was stolen. I won't name the company, but it was a large US fashion retailer, and I was rather surprised when told this. It just goes to show you identity theft, and banking crimes can occur anywhere.

Identity Theft And Banking Info

Just a quick post today my peeps as I am overwhelmed with a few things at the moment. I did want to alert you to something though so please do read on.... I just got off the phone with my sister who apparently had her banking info ripped off when she used her card at a gas station the other day. The bank alerted her that this morning a check for a large sum had been deposited into her account, and then immediately withdrawn. Thankfully the bank caught on to the scam right away, and any money my sister is personally missing will be covered ... but how scary is that! Her financial institution has launched an investigation, and hopefully the perpetrators will be caught.

Rocky Boots like the one that is pictured above (ladies), and Bates Boots are not just for cops, and military personnel any more, they are a hot fashion item! I own a pair very similar to the one above that I wear with my long, black navy-cut coat, and I can tell you I think they look great, plus they are very tough.

Ecommerce Whitepaper - Is Your Business Ready

Network Solutions has prepared a press release detailing its Ecommerce Whitepaper that will help online merchants prepare for the busy upcoming holiday season. Network Solutions is a provider of high quality Ecommerce Software, and I was already familiar with the great reputation of this company prior to checking out their Ecommerce Whitepaper earlier today through my "better half" who as most of my regular readers already know is an I.T. professional, and gives me his thoughts on all things "techie." :) Along with this pre info, and my own desire to succeed as an online small business operator I was really excited to check this out!

Basically this guide is available to help online merchants prepare their own SEO strategies including such topics as Pay Per Click Advertising, and other forms of online advertising that you may not be familiar with. How cool is that! B)

Staying on top of the latest in Search Engine Optimization along with online sales, and marketing strategies is imperative in my own opinion as more, and more people are doing the majority of their shopping online, which includes me. :) Just click on one of the links above that will take you to the Network Solutions where you can read the press release in total, and get some more info.

Putting Up The Halloween Decorations

This past weekend we did some of our pre-Halloween shopping, and got some of our decorations up. Granted our home already looks like Halloween year-round, but that is another story... ;)

One of the shops that I went into this weekend was Pier One Imports, and I have to admit that I was kind of put off by the Christmas displays. It seems like every year Christmas decorations, merchandise etc are being hauled out earlier, and earlier by the retailers....and it is getting annoying at least in my opinion.

Holiday stress is bad enough, and I don't want to experience it any earlier then those first weeks of November. I also believe it takes away from the spirit of Halloween .. :(

One holiday at a time please....

Check Into Cash - A Review

Good Sunday afternoon my peeps. I had the opportunity to visit Check Into Cash a little bit earlier on in the day, and I thought I would pass along the real scoop on this online check cashing service.

Firstly, Check Into Cash is a pay day loan also known as a cash advance company. These types of services allow you to borrow quick cash to pay off bills or buy groceries etc ahead of pay day like a quick cash fix. I liked the fact that Check Into Cash says upfront on their main website page that these types of loans should be considered a short term option, and not something to fix a lengthy or ongoing credit problem, and in the latter case they do recommend credit counselling, which is exactly the same advice I would give someone in deep credit trouble.

With that said, I have taken out a cash advance before, and this company does have the added convenience of being able to apply for it online. They state on the site very fast approvals. You write a personal check, and they give you the cash is how it works in the most simplest of terms. For more detailed info you can check the site out for yourself by clicking on the Check Into Cash.com linky. :D

Facebook Bloggers Backlash

I grabbed the above photo yesterday whilst I was out shopping with the hubby. It is the community bulletin board at our local supermarket. Since I am pretty much as old as the hills I do remember when much social networking in the community centred around boards like these. They listed everything from local events, to houses for sale, to babysitters wanted etc.

Now community or social networking is a global phenomenon with sites like Facebook leading the way, and taking it to heights never dreamed of a a few short decades ago.

However, I have noticed a huge backlash against Facebook amongst my fellow bloggers, and I am not alone. I have read at least two articles now that have also noted that people are becoming turned off by the numerous applications, sheep throwing et al of this electronic community/social networking board.

What are your thoughts? Are you a "facebooker" that has had enough? I have a Facebook account, but I find I am using it much less lately, and I am a little overwhelmed by it at times.

Cheers!

Yankee Doodle Real Estate

Growing up I spent a lot of time in southern Florida. My grandfather was a Canadian snow bird, and owned a lovely duplex just south of Miami, and near the beach. I have fond memories of those days, and often lament the fact that the property was sold.

Through most of my adult life I figured I would never be able to get into the US real-estate market. However, with the Canadian dollar climbing higher, and higher, and now above parity with the US buck, coupled with the American housing bubble burst, now may just be the time for savvy Canadians to invest in US real-estate.

I'm going to explore this topic further, and blog about it in more detail in the upcoming weeks.

Talk About A Lot Of Spam

The bus man sent this news item over to me today that states that 95% of all email being sent is spam. Think about this... Out of 100 e-mails travelling along the Internet, 95 of them are spam. Scary eh!

Here is a snippet from the article:

"Commtouch released its Email Threats Trend Report for the third quarter of 2007, based on the automated analysis of billions of email messages weekly.

The report examines the appearance of new kinds of attachment spam such as PDF spam and Excel spam together with the decline of image spam, as well as the growing threat of innocent appearing spam containing links to malicious web sites."

According to the report:

* Global spam levels reached an all-time high of 95% of all emails at its peak during the quarter.

* Blended threat messages -- or spam messages with links to malicious URLs -- accounted for up to 8% of all global email traffic during the peaks of various attacks during the quarter.

* One massive outbreak mid-quarter utilized over 11,000 dynamic zombie IP addresses to host malicious web sites. Leading zombie locations included the United States (36%) and Russia (8%).

* Image spam declined to a level of less than 5% of all spam, down from 30% in the first quarter of 2007; also, image pump-and-dump spam has all but disappeared, with pornographic images taking its place.

* PDF Spam represented 10-15% of all spam in early July and then dropped significantly, however a steady stream of PDF spam is still being maintained at 3-5% of all spam messages.

* Pharmaceuticals and sexual enhancers were the most popular spam topics, at 30% and 23%, respectively.

Full article here

Now what I would like to know is who is actually opening this spam mail or making purchases through them? Everyone denies it, but if no one ever bought through spam there would be no need for it.

Just a thought!

A Review Of Wordze

One of the hot button topics on this blog is making money online, and how to do that successfully. Getting an online business up, and running or establishing a strong web presence is not exactly easy as some of you might already know quite well, and therefore it is important that we utilise resources that have a proven track record in helping us to get those readers, and potential customers who will be interested in our products or services find us within the search engines.

Earlier this afternoon I had the opportunity to check out the Wordze website, and play around with their keyword research tools. Not only was I delighted by how easy it was to use the Wordze search tools (it took me no time to get the hang of it) I was also very impressed with the ability it offers users to really refine their own research, and get the keywords that best suits their own niche markets.

In my opinion Wordze is definitely a worthwhile service, as better keywords will get you better ranking, and increase sales. Click on one of the links within this entry, and check them out for yourself. Just look for the tour button on the top of their home page to learn more.

Internet Poker Rooms

I am not what you might consider a big online gamer, but I have visited a few different Online Poker Sites on the net, mostly out of my own curiosity to see what these sites are like, and what is involved with them.

A little bit earlier today I had the opportunity of spending some time, and checking out a website that offers its readership Top Poker Reviews.

I found Internet-poker.co.uk to be very well designed, and easy enough to use. The reviews that this site offers includes US Poker Sites or poker sites that accept American based poker players. They also include reviews of UK Online Poker Sites that appear to be unbiased, and are genuinely helpful in my own opinion.

If you check out their sidebar you can access articles that cover the latest online casino news, new payment methods etc. In my opinion as a person who would be consider not too knowledgeable on the online poker world this site is a good resource for the newbie, and the highly experienced gamer.

Saving Money On Holiday Shopping

Can you believe that Halloween is only two weeks away?! I just got started decorating the house for my fave spooky holiday this past weekend, and before we all know it those decorations will be coming down, and the Christmas ones will be going up!

Pine Cone Peso At Par

The Pine Cone Peso (aka the Canadian dollar) may be at par with its US counterpart, but many US retailers are not treating it thusly. I have heard several horror stories especially last weekend, which was a long one here in Canada in regards to Canadian shoppers finding large US companies like Target, and Starbucks not exchanging the loonie at par. One US retailer was reported to be trading at 60 cents on the dollar! 88|

Weird, usually US retailers are very good at this sort of thing in my experience as a cross-border shopper, and really should be wooing Canadian shoppers in my opinion.

Tips that are being given to Canadians shopping across the border include exchange your money here first, or use a credit card for a fairer exchange rate. :D

Tattoo Removal Creams Can Cause Cancer

Good Monday morning my peeps! I was reading the press release below in regards to tattoo removal, and how over the counter bleaching creams may be banned in the US much like other countries because of concerns they contain cancer causing agents. This was the first I had heard of it, and since I try to bring you the latest scoops on bans, recalls etc I am happy to alert you to this if you haven't heard it before. Read on:

FDA bans Tattoo Removal Creams?

San Diego - With the launch of it’s new website, Inkbusters.com warns the public about possible health risks associated with using tattoo removal creams purchased on the Internet. The new site states “many” tattoo removal creams sold online contain Hydroquinone, which is usually the active ingredient in skin bleaching creams.

In August 2006 the FDA proposed a ban on over the counter skin bleaching creams containing Hydroquinone due to concerns about Cancer and Exogenous Ochronosis. This proposed ban is similar to those already enacted in Japan, France, Great Britain and Australia for the same reasons.

InkBusters.com CEO Rick Barker notes, “Indirectly—and probably without knowing it—the FDA is saying they think the tattooed public may be at risk if they use tattoo removal creams containing Hydroquinone. This is particularly true when you consider most skin bleaching cream makers––prescription or OTC––never recommend Hydroquinone be used more than 4-6 months for maximum effect. Many tattoo removal cream makers online offer supplies well beyond this recommended period.”

InkBusters.com sells TCA at its website to help consumers remove tattoos in a natural non-laser fashion. TCA is a popular non-prescription skin-peeling agent commonly used by doctors, health spas and private individuals to remove fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars on the face. TCA has twice been medically tested and proven to fade and/or remove tattoos on the body. TCA looks and feels like water and is applied with a q-tip. There is no Hydroquinone in TCA.

It is good to know that there is a safe alternative to the creams for tattoo removal through InkBusters.com that is affordable particulary in comparison to laser removal.

I hope you find this info helpful! Have a look at the product in more detail by clicking on any of the links within this entry.

From Junk To Art

Matthew
sent me a BBC article the other day about a UK lady who took all of the junk mail she has received over the course of a year, and turned it into the sculpture you see above. Here is a snippet:

An artist has created an unusual exhibit in her Tyneside garden out of unwanted junk mail.

Anne Cohen, 54, from Newcastle, has placed all her hand-delivered junk mail on a large metal spike outside her front door.

She started on 1 January and now the artwork is over 5ft tall.

The mother-of-four said she came up with the idea to get people talking about the volume of junk mail delivered in her neighbourhood.

Full BBC Article Here

People have been complaining about junk mail since it first started being sent, and even the opt-out programs in certain countries appears to be of no value. Personally I just do not buy from companies that spam my snail mail box. We as the consumer do have the power to control sales, and marketing strategies if we choose to. If no one bought products via junk mail or clicked on spam links they would not be a problem.

And bravo Anne Cohen! What a cool idea to demonstrate the wastefulness of this kind of advertising!

I had the opportunity to check out the HairConfirm Hair Drug Testing Kit via the company's website earlier today, and thought that some of my readers may be interested in this product.

I know that some of you might be thinking that this is an extreme way of dealing with a teen's possible drug problems, or as a means to prevent youth from substance abuse. As a parent of one pre-teen, a teen, and an adult child I can say that I have learned never to judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. If I thought this product would be beneficial to my own family I would definitely use it. It may not be the only answer, but I would say it can be an effective tool, particularly for a family with a troubled youth.

If you would like further info on this product please do click on the link or photo above.

Wordless Wednesday - Mailbox

The Acme Candy Shop is not too far away from where I live, and whilst I was out taking an afternoon stroll I grabbed this photo of its mailbox. Pretty cool eh! The store itself is pretty amazing too, with all of its sugary goodness... :D

Texas Holdem Tables At Cardroom Supply

Good morning my peeps! Despite not feeling too well last night I did do some web surfing, and I checked out some really cool products over at the Cardroom Supply.com website. Firstly check out this table set:

I snagged the above image, which by the way is linked directly to the site from the Cardroom Supply.com website. I wanted to whet your appetite by giving you the reader just a small visual taste of the Texas Holdem Tables that are currently available to purchase. Go on click on it...I know ya want to! :p

What I really like about Cardroom Supply aside from the merchandise that they are offering is that they provide a safe, and secured shopping experience that is conveniently accessible right from your office or home PC. The company accepts various forms of payment, including all the major credit cards, plus a big, big, bonus is that they will take PayPal (my own preferred method of payment for all online purchases).

While visiting I noted that Cardroom Supply has been around since 2003 so they have definitely established their own online presence. They provide customer service via phone, and electronically, and they even (this impressed me as well) allow for their customers to track their own orders via the website. Cool! B)

Happy Shopping!

Innovative Payment Plan

Wow! When I first read that Radiohead had decided to allow fans to pay what they want for their new album I thought how innovative, and fresh! It turns out I was not alone in my thinking! According to the BBC both Ian Brown and Johnny Marr agree that this is a fantastic idea. Here is a snippet:

Radiohead's plan to let fans choose how much to pay for their new album has won support from two British indie legends.

Fans can name their price, from £0-100, and download In Rainbows on Wednesday.

Former Stone Roses singer Ian Brown said it was a "fantastic idea", adding: "Anything that can break the music industry up, I'm supporting it."

Ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr praised their trust in human nature. He said: "We'll see if their good faith is going to be rewarded. I think it will work."

I wonder if other bands will follow suit??? Cool eh!

Spot Loans.co.uk - A Review

I had the opportunity to visit SpotLoans.co.uk this afternoon, and check out the services that are being offered through this particular financial product website. I am going to take a few minutes today to introduce you to the site, which I found to be a good online resource for those seeking a lender in the United Kingdom.

Firstly, the webmaster did a good job in putting together the SpotLoans.co.uk site in my own humble opinion. Obviously I base this on being a web surfer, and not a web designer, but in many ways I do believe the opinion of the end user (like myself) is the most important. I was impressed with how easy the site was to navigate, and use.

Aside from being a website with which a consumer can apply for, and receive free quotes there are also numerous articles. The entries range in subjects from debt consolidation, home loan, and mortgage advice, and secured loans to name just three. The info presented is not only fresh, but the few articles I did read were indeed informative in my opinion.

If you are looking for a quote, or would just like some further detail then please do click on the SpotLoans.co.uk link, and check this UK loan resource out.

Honest Ed On Soda Pop Bottle

I love it!!! And I bet Honest Ed Mirvish would have approved as well!

Not only is Jones Pop tasty, I think this is a very cool way to immortalise the man, and his iconic store!

Here is a snippet from the CBC:

Seattle-based Jones Soda has brewed up a tribute to the late businessman and theatre impresario Ed Mirvish with a limited-edition run of cream soda released this month featuring a portrait of the beloved Torontonian.

Lisa Giroux, Jones Soda regional manager, said Russell Lazar — the general manager of the discount bargain shop Honest Ed's in Toronto — gave the soda company the green light to proceed.

"We chose to feature Ed Mirvish because he was such an icon in Canadian entertainment and Honest Ed's has been a loyal customer to Jones Soda for quite some time," Giroux said.

A total of 5,000 cases have been produced for distribution in Ontario.

I will definitely be picking up a bottle or two! Cool! B)

Endowment Express - A Review

Good afternoon my peeps! I have had the opportunity to spend some quality time checking out the Endowment Express website during the last couple of hours, and I thought I would give you some of my thoughts and impressions on the site itself, and the service that this particular company is offering based on what I have read there today.

United Kingdom Endowments policies can be sold through Endowment Express, and their website gives further details, and information on how they work. The website itself is fairly easy to use in my opinion. You basically fill in an online form that they provide, and once done they will give you a free quote. If the quote is acceptable to you then great, if not then you are under no obligation.

Selling endowment policies has become a big business in the United Kingdom over the last few years according to a fairly recent article put out by the BBC. There are pitfalls that should be avoided if possible, and that is why a good online resource on the topic, such as I personally found Endowment Express to be, is so important to the potential seller.

Visit the Endowment Express website for more info, and be sure to read through their about us, and FAQ pages.

LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE! Seriously!

Most of my peeps are probably already familiar with Chris Crocker's Britney Love vid above. Today, Britney Spears has spoken out against it according to USMagazine.com stating that she found the video "insulting."

Britney is definitely not amused at what she believes is a cheap grab at fame by her #1 fan. The exact quote from US Magazine is:

"She thinks he's creepy and that all his videos are an obvious attempt at fame. She finds it insulting and difficult to watch."

You would think she'd be happy for anything that seemed remotely supportive these days, but to each their own.

Trade Show Booths

Good morning my peeps! I had the opportunity to check out the The Godfrey Group website earlier on this morning. They provide a pretty funky looking Pop Up Display that I wanted to have a look at along with other types of trade show booths, and displays.

I have to admit though that it was the Pop Up Display that really caught my own fancy because of the fact that it is quite eye-catching, and that is something in my own experience you definitely want when you are literally in the midst of a sea of competitors.

Have a look by clicking on the photo or links above.

Have Che On Your Butt!

It is perhaps the most reproduced, recycled and ripped off image of the 20th Century. And I thought that title would go to either Marilyn, Elvis, or Diana! ;)

A BBC article, and photographs reveal the infinite uses, and abuses, of the iconic image of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara, including his image on cigarettes.

Here is a snippet from the article:

Che Guevara, his eyes framed by heavy brows, a single-starred beret pulled over his unruly hair, stares out of the shot with glowering intensity.

It's now 40 years since the Argentine-born rebel was shot dead, so any young radicals who cheered on his revolutionary struggles in Cuba and Bolivia are well into middle age.

But the image has been infinitely repeated - emblazoned on T-shirts and sprayed on to walls, transformed into pop art and used to wrap ice-creams and sell cigarettes - and its appeal has not faded.

Full BBC Article Here

I can tell you his image is seen throughout my own neighbourhood on the backpacks of teens, within graffiti etc. I guess if you wanted to brand something or someone as rebellious, and anti-establishment what better image to use?!

Cheers!

Gorilla Trades

Yayyyy it is Friday!!! And this weekend here in Canada we are celebrating our Thanksgiving Day on Monday so we are headed into a long weekend! Cool eh! B)

Not only am I fired up about the extra day off, I am also really excited to say I have finally checked out Gorilla Trades, which is something that I have heard a lot about, but had personally never seen before. Gorilla Trades are those highly funny, investment TV commercials that there has been so much hoopla about on the net.

Well if you are a fan of these, or you are like myself, and are curious about these ads, and have not had the ability to see them before, then you are in for a treat! Just give some clicky love to the logo or linky above and you will be taken to the official Gorilla Trades video website.

The site is set up so that users can watch Gorilla Trades videos, including some hot behind the scenes footage! The site will also explain in far greater detail the purpose of Gorilla Trades, and how they can help out investors. There is a tutorial that is available as well that is worth checking out in my opinion.

Happy Viewing!

Review Of A Personal Finance Resource

Good morning my peeps! Today I would like to offer up to you a review of a personal finance website.

Here in Canada the topic of payday loans made a lot of news a couple of months back as the rules for lenders were changed in order to offer stronger protection to consumers. Lenders must now clearly spell out any, and all fees up front that are associated with these particular loans. Cool! B)

Rebuild.org covers the topic of payday loans, along with other personal financial subjects. I had a look through their site a bit earlier today, and was happy with the overall info, and services provided through the site.

Mortgage Loans have a separate section devoted to them that provides links to the latest news, and articles. This is quite handy!

If you are looking to refinance via personal loans I do recommend having a look at what is being offered through Rebuild.org, and do some comparison shopping! :D

Affordable Health Insurance

Good afternoon my peeps! I am always happiest on this blog when I can introduce you to a product or service that I think can be of great help to you my readers, and I definitely feel that way about WebHealthPolicy, which is a terrific resource for affordable health insurance. :D

There is nothing more important than our health in my humble opinion, and that includes insuring that we, and our families have the best possible health insurance coverage for our needs both now, and in the future. The reason why I am so happy to tell you about WebHealthPolicy is that during my visit to this site I found that it made the process of finding affordable health insurance very easy! There is a simple, and secured online form to fill out, and once that is done you can receive quotes to comparison shop with. Cool eh! If you are in need of health insurance or want to do some comparison shopping just click on the linky above.

Cheers to our health!

Britney Loses Babies

Pregnant Britney on Harper's cover

I wasn't exactly shocked by today's news that Britney Spears has been ordered to hand over her two young children to her former husband Kevin Federline. However, I was saddened despite the fact that Britney does not exactly illicit much sympathy with her actions of late. It is almost unheard of that a mother losses custody, hopefully this very low point in her life will serve to help Britney get herself together as oppsed to destroying her completely.

More Thoughts On Loans

Good Monday morning my peeps! Cheap loans have become a bit of a hot button topic across the internet, and specifically around the blogosphere of late. I have come across several articles in regards to topics such as personal loans, including secured loans for those with not such a good credit history. Some of these websites, and articles are great, and very informative, others have less to be desired.

There is much info out there already, however, since loans are such a hot topic I am quite happy to take this opportunity to share my opinion on them. Personally, I think that the vast majority of us will need to borrow money at some time, and if we do so with as much knowledge of what we are getting ourselves into in the first place we should be ok. When shopping around for loans remember the old line "caveat emptor" or "buyer beware" and be certain to get all the facts before signing anything. Also insure that the terms of the loan are realistic to your own financial circumstances, and that you will be able to pay it off.

Cheers!
