Let's Talk About Life Insurance

Yeah, I know that for some of you life insurance is not an easy subject to discuss, and for years that was true for me too. Perhaps it is because the thought of our own mortality is not something we want to have front, and center in our minds, or our natural fear of death ....still it is a very important subject that we all have to consider in order to protect our families.

When my father passed away almost ten years ago, his life insurance was a great help in insuring his funerary costs were covered, and we were financially taken care of, especially my mother. As my father's executrix I know the importance of a good life insurance policy first-hand.

eLifePolicy is a terrific online resource that you can utilise to purchase term life insurance coverage. You can do so from the comfort of you own home, and you do not have to have a medical examination to qualify.

Subsidiaries of HSBC North America Holdings (the same company my Dad was insured through) provide the policy. I can tell you first hand that they were very helpful, and made the process of collecting on the policy as painless as possible through compassionate staff who understood the pain of what we were going through at the time.
