This week's question/task/assignment is: Post photos from your favorite holiday moments from last year. From two years ago. From five years ago. When looking back on these moments, how have the holidays changed for you? For your family? (Hint: Keep track of your holiday photos from THIS year.

Well since my scanner is on the fritz (hint present idea) and I only started using a digital camera two years ago I'm going to cheat, and give you all a current look at our Christmas tree.

I can however, paint a few pictures with words or at least recall gentler times when all three kiddos were much younger, and Christmas was truly full of magic. Do not get me wrong....it still is...but there really is nothing so special as sharing the holidays with a young child.

Five years ago my youngest was seven, and full of the wonder, and fun that the holidays bring. Now that she is a pre-teen I only catch glimpses of that wonderment such as when she pulled out a special ornament from the box or helped out with some of the gift wrapping...in between cell phone calls of course ..

And yes Karen I'll be certain to keep track of all the photos from this year, and be a better Blog Talker going into to 2008 ..
