So call me patriotic...the best summer vacation I have ever had was right here at home in Toronto. I told ya Toronto is the center of my Universe!

Yes getting away can be fun particularly in the winter months, but during the summer their is A LOT to do that is fun right here! For instance we have some great historic attractions like Fort York, and a world class museum in the ROM. In July we have an internationally famed Caribbean Carnival called Caribana, which is huge, and includes a parade with amazing costumes, and revellers. In August we have the Canadian National Exhibition, which has amazing shopping, shows, food building, and midway. And naturally my own fave the Canadian International Airshow to close it out during the Labour Day long weekend!

Ohhhh and then just a quick drive outside of the city is the Shaw Festival for theatre lovers, and Niagara Falls!
