BYB Sunday - Family Photos

I LOVE my new scanner! It means you will be seeing a lot more vintage photos like this one circa 1971 of me and my Grandpa during a visit to Niagara Falls.

These old photos are a blessing to me, especially of those who have long since passed on like my Grandpa so that I in turn can share them, and their memory with my own kids.

Thanks for stopping by! It is a long weekend here in Canada, and I will be out and about, so if I do not get back to you right away I will be visiting and leaving comments for everyone who stops by here, it may just take a day or two.

That is a well preserved, and a very cute picture!

I must agree with you about the scanners being a blessing. In fact, I have been thinking about doing a post dealing with some old pictures. Maybe, this week is the right time...

I should do this. I inherited our family photos when she died. I did a neat scrapbook about my brother for his birthday (he cried). Scanning and saving on disk would sure save me a lot of space.
