Camera Critters #4

This week I thought I would share a close-up of our budgie Sam with you. Sam is getting on in years, and while he has only made attempts at actually saying hello he is very tame, and likes people. :D

Sam did have a gender confused brother named Stella, and a partner named Sunny, but both have since passed on.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a great week ahead! If you are stopping in for BYB Sunday that will be online a little later.

Cheers!
Sue

That's an amazing photo. Birds can be quite companionable (well, not HERE, but elsewhere . . .). It's such a great photo.

I love budgies, and I love your photo. We had budgies for a while, but they never became properly tame - poor neurotic pet-shop birds! - and we have too many predatory animals to replace them now.

I used to have two of those, one blue and one yellow, unfortunately I got allergic and had to give them away. But I would still want one......

What a sweet little boy. I have always loved budgies. We had a few when we were growing up and they would always try to 'groom' the freckles off of my hands and arms.
