Heads Or Tails A Summertime Memory

One of my fave summer time activities when the kids were little was taking them to the Sand Banks Provincial Park. It is all sandy beach for as far as the eyes can see in any direction.

And the kids just loved playing in the sand, building castles, and splashing in the lake. I will always be a beach bum at heart, but I do miss those days when the kids were small.

Hard to believe the Kiddo will be 13 years old in a couple of months!

When I saw this week's prompt for HoT, I went looking... it seems I don't have any sandy-beach pics. *confused* But yours are so cute! I love the Kiddo with her little bonnet on! I want a daughter, and the more I look at other peoples' little girls, the more I come to think that the reason I want one is so I can dress her up. *chuckle*

Great pictures!!! Amazing how time flies! I spent last Thursday evening with a friend who told me her youngest just celebrated her 27th birthday ... but when they lived with me Erin was just 10! Hard to figure where the time went.
